Angus, Brechin Pageant -Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting, to allow for a pub;lic procession.

What is happening?

TRAFFIC ORDER

On 26/05/2025 the Council made The Angus Council (Brechin Pageant) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2025, under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, for the purposes of holding a public procession. The effect of this Order is to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic from driving or waiting in or on Trinity Road (B966), Southesk Street (B966)/(A935), Park Road and Park Place, Brechin. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained and the effect of the order will be managed by a rolling road closure. There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic. The maximum duration in terms of the Act is 18 months. Full details of the Order are available at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders.
