What is happening?

HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL:

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FRITHSDEN LANE, POTTEN END) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of

Frithsden Lane, Potten End from its northernmost junction with Roman Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 101m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Roman Road and Frithsden Lane. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 18 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF UPPER BOURNE END LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Upper Bourne End Lane, Hemel Hempstead from a point 656m south west of its junction with 2U1819 (unnamed road) south westwards for a distance of approximately 33m (“the Road”), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF LITTLE HEATH LANE, POTTEN END/

LITTLE HEATH AND TATTERSHALL DRIVE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-

1. that length of Little Heath Lane, Potten End/Little Heath from its junction with Hempstead Lane south westwards to its junction with Bullbeggars Lane, a distance of approximately 575m. An alternative route will be via Hempstead Lane, The Common and Bullbeggars Lane.

2. that length of Tattershall Drive, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Shenley Road north westwards to its junction with Braemer Turn, a distance of approximately 63m.

An alternative route will be via Shenley Road, Dunster Road and Tattershall Drive.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BELSWAINS LANE AND BELMONT ROAD, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):-

1. that length of Belswains Lane, Hemel Hempstead from a point 125m south east of its junction with Belmont Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 210m. An alternative route will be via Belswains Lane, Lawn Lane, Durrants Hill Road, A4251 London Road, Nash Mills Lane, Red Lion Lane, Lower Road and Belswains Lane.

2. that length of Belmont Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Belswains Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 20m.

An alternative route will be via Belswains Lane, St Albans Hill, Risedale Road and Belmont Road.

The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing gas main is proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BERKHAMSTED PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.009) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using Berkhamsted Public

Footpath No.009 from a point 23m north west of its junction with

Prince Edward Street south westwards to its junction with Berkhamsted Public Footpath No,010, a distance of approximately 97m (“the Public Footpath”).

An alternative route will be via Berkhamsted Public Footpath

No.009, the footpath situated on the west side of Prince Edward

Street, the footway situated on the south side of A4251 High Street, the footway situated on the east side of A416 Kings Road and Berkhamsted Public Footpath No.010.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 June 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Public Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THREE CHERRY TREES LANE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Three

Cherry Trees Lane, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with the B487 Redbourn Road/Shenley Road roundabout south eastwards for a distance of approximately 70m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via B487 Redbourn Road, A4147 (Redbourn Road/Swallowdale Lane), Swallowdale Lane and Three Cherry Trees Lane.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RUCKLERS LANE, KINGS LANGLEY

AND FEATHERBED LANE, FELDEN/HEMEL HEMPSTEAD)

ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:-

1. that length of Rucklers Lane, Kings Langley from its junction with A4251 Hempstead Road south westwards, north westwards and south westwards to its junction with Barnes Lane, a distance of approximately 2530 m.

An alternative route will be via A4251 Hempstead Road, Common Lane and Barnes Lane.

2.  that length of Featherbed Lane, Felden/Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Felden Lane north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with A4251 London Road, a distance of approximately 2089 m.

An alternative route will be via Felden Lane and A4251 London Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE A41 WESTBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING ONTO THE WESTBOUND CARRIAGEWAY OF A41

(UNNAMED ROAD), BERKHAMSTED AND THE A41 WESTBOUND SLIP ROAD LEADING FROM THE WESTBOUND CARRIAGEWAY

OF A41 (UNNAMED ROAD), HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access:1. the A41 westbound slip road leading onto the westbound carriageway of A41 (unnamed road), Berkhamsted from its junction with the A4251 London Road roundabout south westwards and north westwards to its junction with the westbound carriageway of A41 (unnamed road), a distance of approximately 266m.

An alternative route will be via A4251 London Road and A41 (unnamed road/Two Waters Way Interchange/unnamed road). 2. the A41 westbound slip road leading from the westbound carriageway of A41 (unnamed road), Hemel Hempstead from its junction with the westbound carriageway of A41 (unnamed road) south westwards and south eastwards a distance of approximately 103m.

An alternative route will be via A41 (unnamed road), A416 Chesham Road, A41 (unnamed road) and A4251 London Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING

RESTRICTIONS IN ELLEN CLOSE, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD)

ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ellen Close, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Great Road south westwards and north westwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 2 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF MALTING LANE, ALDBURY) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Malting Lane, Aldbury from a point 156m south east of its junction with New Ground Road south eastwards and north eastwards for its entire length (“the Road”), except for access.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 3 June 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
