(Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.16) Order 202

Order 202**

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 2(4), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the Order:

1. To Revoke – ‘Limited Waiting, 8am-6pm, 2hrs No Return Within 3hrs’ Parking Bay Restrictions on the following road:

Road: Canvey Road

Description:

West Side: From a point approximately 35 metres from its junction with Northwick Road, north for approximately 17.5 metres

East Side: From a point approximately 3.5 metres from its junction with Northwick Road, north for approximately 6.5 metres

2. To Implement – ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Restrictions on the following road:

Road: Canvey Road

Description:

West Side: From a point approximately 35 metres from its junction with Northwick Road, north for approximately 17.5 metres

East Side: Approximately 3 metres from its junction with Northwick Road North for approximately 4.1 m north for approximately 6.5 metres

This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Castle Point District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by substituting the following tile: TQ770 835 Revision 1 to Revision 2

(Ashdon Way, Kingswood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic)

& (Temporary Closure of Right Hand Turn Bus Lane on Nether Mayne, Basildon) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Ashdon Way, Kingswood in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Nethermayne to its junction with Station Road a distance of approximately 300m in both directions.

2. To temporarily close the right hand turn Bus Lane from Nether Mayne, Basildon into Ashdon Way, Kingswood, in the Borough of Basildon for the duration of the above closure only.

The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 7th July 2025 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (A210165155941 & A210180390092-01 – Mua Electricity Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while trench excavation for cabling works are undertaken by Mua Electricity Limited.

Alternative routes are available via:

1. Nether Mayne, Roundacre New Roundabout.

2. Station Way, Southernhay, Roundacre New Roundabout, Nether Mayne.

The Order will come into effect on 29th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Mountnessing Road, Billericay/ Mountnessing)

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mountnessing Road, Billericay/ Mountnessing in the Boroughs of Basildon and Brentwood, from the junction of The Links to the junction of Old Church Lane a distance of approximately 775m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th June 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2382418 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Old Church Lane, Wash Road, Rayleigh Road, London Road, Mountnessing Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 29th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Seax Way, Laindon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Seax Way, Laindon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 30m south east of its junction with Sable Way for a distance of approximately 55m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd June 2025 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WG3TFK8L – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting and spine cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Seax Way, Hornsby Way, Fenton Way and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 29th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Temporary Introduction of a Clearway & Temporary Introduction of 40mph Speed Limit) (No.6) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule 1 to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

3. To temporarily introduce a 40mph speed limit in that length of road as specified in the schedule 2.

“The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 29th May 2025, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

(Winifred Road, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Winifred Road, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 24m east of its junction with Carlisle Way for a distance of approximately 25m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 16th June 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WG4NV00N – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

No diversion route is available.

The Order will come into effect on 29th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Burches Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burches Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 115m north of its junction with Grange Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a northerly then north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th June 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M133098 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

(Burnt Mills Road, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Burnt Mills Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 35m south of its junction with main section of Burnt Mills Road for a distance of approximately 15m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd June 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30054692551 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while supply upgrade works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Stanley Road, Benfleet) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Stanley Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 55m south west of its junction with Chesterfield Avenue for a distance of approximately 60m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd June 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2380841 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via Stanley Road, Chesterfield Avenue, Spencer Road, Thundersley Church Road and vice versa.

The Order came into effect on 15th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Castle Point) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.9) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.

“The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. Description: From its junction with High Street to its junction with Smallgains Avenue a distance of approximately 120m.

Alternative Route: Dovervelt Road, Climmen Road, Central Road, Elder Tree Road, High Street or High Street, Folksville Road, Furtherwick Road, Knightswick Road, Central Wall, Climmen Road, Dovervelt Road.

(Venables Close, Canvey Island) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Venables Close, Canvey Island in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 25m in a southerly then south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311001WG2L214TFB26 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.
