Edgware Road, Temporary Banned Right Turn Due To Carriageway Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) BANNED RIGHT TURN

EDGWARE ROAD NW9

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate footway and carriageway works, they intend to make an Order which will:

(a) temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to turn right into No.383 Edgware Road NW9 (Shell Petrol Station) from Edgware Road (Southbound), while the works take place.

(b) temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to turn right into Edgware Road NW9 while exiting out of No.383 Edgware Road (Shell Petrol Station), while the works take place. The works will commence at 8.00am on Wednesday 4th June 2025 and is expected to last for 40 days.

The alternative route for motorists will be via Cricklewood Broadway, Chichele Road, Walm Lane, Willesden Lane, Kilburn High Road and Shoot Up Hill.

Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Traffic Warden in uniform. Further information may be obtained by contacting the NSWRA Team, London Borough of Barnet, Tel 020 8359 5555.
