Trafford Road - Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order For Essential Works

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (TRAFFORD ROAD CYCLE TRACKS) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025.

The effect of the Order will introduce Cycle Track Closures on:

Trafford Road, Salford: (i) West side, starting from a point 23 metres south from the junction of Aubrey Street, for a distance of 19 metres in a northern direction, (ii) East side, starting from a point 67 metres south from the junction of Phoebe Street, for a distance of 58 metres in a southern direction.

The Order is necessary for essential works to be done. 

The order is due to come into operation on the 26th June 2025 and will last for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 16th July 2025.
