What is happening?

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
On 23 May 2025, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to: (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length Station Approach (D3759) West Byfleet between Maderia Road (D3759) and Old Woking Road (A245); (b) prohibit the use of the footway adjacent to this length of road; and (c) suspend “The Surrey County Council Various in Woking Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.2) 2025” insofar as it relates to (a).
Alternative Route – Madeira Road and A245 (Sheerwater Road, Old Woking Road), or Madeira Road, Camphill Road and A245 (Old Woking Road). Footway diversion – the footway on the western side of the road.
The Order is required to allow Skyline Arcomet Ltd to carry out crane dismantling and all associated works which is anticipated to be completed in 2 phases over 4 days within 1 month, between 6:00am and 8:00pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 7 June 2025. Phase 1 will be a directional closure southbound on Station Approach and the adjacent footway. Phase 2 will be a total closure of the road including the footway. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.

Lockfield Drive (A324) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Lockfield Drive (A324) Woking between its junction with Harelands Roundabout and its junction with Sythwood (D3629).
Alternative Route – Marston Road, Sythwood and Brampton Way.
This Order is required to enable Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Limited to facilitate replacement of telecommunications mast and all associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 2 days, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 23 June 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Chobham Road (C11) Knaphill Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Surrey County Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Chobham Road (C11) Knaphill Woking between its junction with Swallow Rise (D3784) and the access for The Priory Hospital.Alternative Route – Chobham Road, Barrs Lane, Littlewick Road, Anchor Hill, High Street and Chobham Road, or this route in reverse.This Order is required to enable Redwood Tree Services to facilitate tree felling and all associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 June 2025. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
