Temporary Orders The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Higher Lane, Wadebridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 27th June 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Higher Lane, Wadebridge from junction with Green Hill to junction with Mill Rise. An alternative route will be signed on site. The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Duke Street, Victoria Place, St Austell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in St Austell.
This prohibition is necessary for works to provide new water connection and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th June 2025 to 13th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.
Roads affected - Duke Street, Victoria Place, St Austell from near No 18 Duke Street to near No 2 Victoria Place. An alternative route will be signed on site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 10th December 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 30 in the Parish of Mawgan-in-Pydar between grid references SW8906865856 to SW8913065818.
The Order which commenced on the 11th December 2024 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 20th November 2025. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 20th May 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed due to a hidden and collapsed badger sett. Path closed on the affected section only to those driving, leading or riding a horse.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Tintagel.
This prohibition is necessary for works to repair defective manhole cover and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th June 2025 to 13th June 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Camelford. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement and pole testing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 11th June 2025 to 12th June 2025.
