TEMPORARY CLOSING OF RESTRICTED BYWAY ELSTREE & BOREHAMWOOD 62
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horseriders, cyclists and vehicles from using that length of Restricted Byway Elstree & Borehamwood 62, heading south toward Edgwarebury Farm, being an approximate distance of 250m.
The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.
Alternative Route: no suitable alternative on PRoW network
The section of Restricted Byway Elstree & Borehamwood 62 will be closed on or after 10 June 2025 for up to 1 day, when signs are in place.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON VARIOUS ROADS IN REDBOURN DURING THE ‘HERTFORDSHIRE COUNTY SHOWGROUND EVENTS’) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the roads”) will be:
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of A5183 (Redbourn Bypass/Dunstable Road), Redbourn from its junction with Luton Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 1200m, when signs are in place.
2. To prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of A5183 (Redbourn Bypass/Dunstable Road), Redbourn from its junction with Luton Lane north westwards for a distance of approximately 1200m.
3. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from the northernmost access road leading from County Showground’ into A5183 Dunstable Road, Redbourn.
An alternative route will be via A5183 Dunstable Road, the A5183 Dunstable Road/A5 (unnamed road) and A5183 Dunstable Road.
4. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from making a right turn manoeuvre from the southernmost access road leading from County Showground into A5183 Dunstable Road, Redbourn, when signs are in place.
An alternative route will be via A5183 Dunstable Road, the A5183 Dunstable Road/A5 (unnamed road) and A5183 Dunstable Road.
The above measures may need to be in force on 24 May 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs when works are in progress.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure public safety and prevent traffic congestion during the duration 'Hertfordshire County Showground Events'.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN COURSERS ROAD, COLNEY HEATH) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Coursers Road, Colney Heath from its junction with the Tollgate Road/High Street roundabout south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with the A1081 The Bell roundabout, a distance of approximately 3096m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via High Street, A4147 North Orbital Road and A1081 London Colney Bypass.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 May 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF A5183 WATLING STREET, PARK STREET/A5183 PARK STREET, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of A5183 Watling Street, Park Street/A5183 Park Street, St Albans from its junction with Hawfield Gardens south eastwards for a distance of approximately 45m (“the length of Roads”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via A5183 Watling Street, A414 North Orbital Road, A1081 (London Colney Bypass/Bell Link Overbridge), B556 (Bell Lane/Harper Lane) and A5183 Watling Street/Radlett Road/Park Street).
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the length of Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 27 May 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the length of Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN BRITTON AVENUE AND SELBY AVENUE, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:–
1. that length of Britton Avenue, St Albans from its junction with A5183 Verulam Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Russell Avenue, a distance of approximately 153m.
An alternative route will be via A5183 (Verulam Road/High Street), A1081 (Chequer Street/St Peters Street), A4147 Catherine Street, Gombards, Worley Road, Stapley Road, Upton Avenue and Selby Avenue.
2. that length of Selby Avenue, St Albans from its junction with Britton Avenue north eastwards to its junction with Upton Avenue, a distance of approximately 97m.
An alternative route will be via Britton Avenue, A5183 (Verulam Road/High Street), A1081 (Chequer Street/St Peters Street), A4147 Catherine Street, Gombards, Worley Road, Stapley Road and Upton Avenue.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 May 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROUNDWOOD LANE, HARPENDEN) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Roundwood Lane, Harpenden from its junction with Falconers Field south westwards, southwards, westwards, eastwards then north westwards to its junctions with Kinsbourne Green Lane, a distance of approximately 1261m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Roundwood Lane, A1081 Luton Road, The Common and Kinsbourne Green Lane.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 May 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ANNABLES LANE, KINSBOURNE GREEN) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Annables Lane, Kinsbourne Green from a point in line with the eastern boundary of ‘Annables Cottage’ north westwards for a distance of approximately 133m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Annables Lane, Kinsbourne Green Lane, Luton Lane, A5183 (Redbourn Bypass/Dunstable Road), A5 (unnamed road), Watery Lane and Annables Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 26 May 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
