Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 22nd
May 2025:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council
intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this
Notice, to make the following temporary traffic regulation
Order under Section 14(1) and 16A of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN
OXLEY PARK, EMBERTON AND TWO MILE ASH)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO2157)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the
following lengths of road and redway to enable Anglian Water
to undertake maintenance works within the carriageway:
 Matthau Lane Oxley Park from its junction with Randall
Drive to its junction with Gomez Close.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route
will be via Keel Way, Fonda Meadows and Randall Drive
(and vice versa).
The temporary closure will be in effect on 2nd June 2025
(between 8:00am and 5:00pm).
 Newton Road Emberton at its junction with Honey Hill.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route
will be via A509, High Street, Lavendon Road, B565,
A428, Bridge Street, Newton Road, Clifton Road (and vice
versa).
The temporary closure will be in effect on 17th and 19th
June 2025 (between 8:00pm and 6:00am each night).
 Watling Street between Rambouillet Drive and Barrosa
Way.
Whist the above closure is in effect, the alternative route
will be via Monks Way, Saxon Street and Portway (and
vice versa).
The temporary closure will be in effect on 18th and 19th
June 2025 (Between 8:00pm and 6:00am each night).
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BULLINGTON END,
CASTLETHORPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER
2025 (Reference TTRO-2147)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from
entering, waiting or proceeding along Bullington End,
Castlethorpe opposite Hanslope Lodge to enable national
Grid to carry out 203m trenching in grass verge for new
supply, supply alteration, reinforcement scheme.
The road closure will take effect from 2nd June to 13th June
2025 (24 Hours).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route
will be via Bullington End, Wolverton Road and Bullington
End Road (Vice Versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN
BRADWELL COMMON, FISHERMEAD, GREAT LINFORD,
LEADENHALL, PENNYLAND AND SPRINGFIELD)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO2187)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the
following lengths of road to enable BT to carry out works to
clear blockages and install ducts.
 Stokenchurch Place, Bradwell Common at its cul-desac containing numbers 39-49
Whilst the above closure is in place there will be no
alternative route.
 Polruan Place, Fishermead at its cul-de-sac south of
Towan Avenue
Whilst the above closure is in place there will be no
alternative route.
 Pipard, Great Linford – from its junction with Hills Close
for 90 metres in a northerly direction
Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route
will be via Hills Close and Middleton.
 Fullwoods Drive, Leadenhall between numbers 15 and

Whilst the above closure is in place the alternative route
will be via Saxon Street, Chaffron Way and Rainbow
Drive.
 Longcross, Pennyland at its junction with Leopard Drive
Whilst the above closure is in place there will be no
alternative route.
 Walbrook Avenue, Springfield from its junction with
Clerkenwell Place to its dead end.
Whilst the above closure is in place there will be no
alternative route.
The road closures will take effect between 2nd June and 10th
June 2025
Access to properties will be maintained when it is safe to do
so.
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FIRST AVENUE
(PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER
2025 (Reference TTRO-2198)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along
First Avenue, Bletchley from its junction with Denbigh Road
for 250 metres to enable Parkway Construction to carry out
works to undertake Foul and Storm Drain final connections.
The road closure will take effect between 2nd and 16th June
2025: -
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via
Denbigh Road and Third Avenue (and vice versa).
Access to properties will be maintained when it is safe to do
so.
PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (SCHOOL LANE
(PART), LOUGHTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER
2025 (Reference TTRO-2154)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along
School Lane, Loughton its entire length to enable SGN to
carry out works to relay a gas service.
The road closure will take effect between 2nd June and 6th
June 2025: -
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via
Leys Road and Pitcher Lane (and vice versa).
Access to properties will be maintained when it is safe to do
so.
PUBLIC NOTICE 6:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CALLUNA DRIVE AND
BUSHY CLOSE, BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2148)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the
following lengths of road to enable Parkway Construction to
carry out works to lay track across the carriageway.
 Calluna Drive, Bletchley from its outside number 15a to
its junction with Kerria Place.
 Bushy Close, Bletchley from its outside number 74 to its
junction with Kerria Place.
Whilst the above closures are in effect, the alternative route
will be via Whalley Drive and Bushy Close (and vice versa).
The road closures will take effect between 2nd and 4th June
2025
Access to properties will be maintained when it is safe to do
so.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council
has on 20th May 2025, made the following temporary traffic
regulation Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 7:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FULMER STREET
(PART), SHENLEY WOOD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2149)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along
Fulmer Street, Shenley Wood (northbound carriageway
only) from its junction with Childs Way to its junction with
Chalkdell Drive. The temporary restriction is necessary to
enable Hutchinson 3G to carry out repairs to telecoms
equipment safely.
The temporary closure will be in operation from 27th to 31st
May 2025 (between the hours of 9:30am and 4:30pm).
Whilst the closure is in place the alternative route will be via
Childs Way, Watling Street and Portway.
Access to properties will be maintained when it is safe to do
so.
PUBLIC NOTICE 8:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (BULLINGTON END
ROAD, CASTLETHORPE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2183)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from
entering, waiting or proceeding along Bullington End Road,
Castlethorpe at its junction with Wolverton Road. The
temporary restriction is necessary to enable city fiber to
install new duct in the carriageway.
The temporary closure will be in operation on 27th and 28th
May 2025 (24 Hours a day).
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route
will be via Bullington End, Park Road, Gold Street,
Castlethorpe Road, Hanslope Road, North Street and
Wolverton Road (Vice Versa).
PUBLIC NOTICE 9:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (ENNERDALE CLOSE,
BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
(Reference TTRO-2142)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along
Ennerdale Close, Bletchley its entire length. The
temporary restriction is necessary to enable BT to carry out
works to excavate for a duct.
The temporary closure will be in operation from 27th to 29th
May 2025 (between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm).
Whilst the closure is in place there will be no alternative route
as Ennerdale Close is a cul-de-sac.
Access to properties will be maintained when it is safe to do
so.
PUBLIC NOTICE 10:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PORTWAY A5 TO V6
CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE)
ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2189)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or
proceeding along the following lengths of road. The
temporary restriction is necessary to enable PowerOn to
install duct:
 Portway A5 to V6 (Westbound) from its junction with
North Grafton Roundabout to its junction with Elder Gate.
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed the alternative
route will be via Portway, Watling Street, Dansteed Way,
Grafton Street (and vice versa).
 Portway A5 to V6 (Eastbound)) from its junction with
Portway Roundabout to its junction with North Grafton
Roundabout.
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed the alternative
route will be via Portway, Watling Street, Dansteed Way,
Grafton Street (and vice versa).
The temporary closures will be in operation from 27th to 29th
May 2025 (between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm).
Warning signs will be erected several days in advance to
inform the public of the forthcoming closure.
PUBLIC NOTICE 11:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PRECEDENT DRIVE
AND PATRIOT DRIVE, ROOKSLEY) (TEMPORARY
CLOSURE) ORDER 2025 (Reference TTRO-2145)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will
be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from
entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of
road The temporary restriction is necessary to enable GMI
Construction and PowerOn to carryout essential
development works:
 Precedent Drive, Rooksley from its junction with Grafton
Street to its junction with Deltic Avenue
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative
route will be via Grafton Street, Dansteed Way and Deltic
Avenue (and vice versa).
 Precedent Drive, Rooksley from its junction with Grafton
Street to its junction with Deltic Avenue
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative
route will be via Grafton Street, Dansteed Way and Deltic
Avenue (and vice versa).
Access will be maintained to businesses.
The above temporary closures will be in operation from 23rd
May to 2nd June 2025 and from 6th June to 21st July 2025
(24 Hours a day).
 Patriot Drive, Rooksley from its junction with Grafton
Street to its junction with Redway RO02 Rooksley
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative
route will be via Grafton Street, Dansteed Way and Deltic
Avenue (and vice versa).
The above temporary closures will be in operation from 2nd
to 6th June 2025 (24 Hours a day).

Public Notices for Permanent Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 22nd

PUBLIC NOTICE 12:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE
BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (VARIOUS ROADS IN
MILTON KEYNES AND SURROUNDING AREAS) (20 MPH
SPEED RESTRICTION ZONES) ORDER 2021) VARIATION
ORDER 2025 (No.2)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council
in exercise of its powers under Sections 82(2) and 83(2) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the
above Traffic Regulation Order.
The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to
introduce a 20mph speed zone for the new development in
Wolverton Mill, Milton Keynes.
Milton Keynes City Council is now carrying out statutory
consultation on the above proposal. Copies of the proposed
Order, together with plans showing the general arrangements
and a statement of reason, may be inspected on the
Council’s website at: www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/
consultations.
Any representations or objections to the proposals, together
with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made
in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order
Team at Milton Keynes City Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon
Gate East, Central Milton Keynes, MK9 3EJ, or by email to
TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO437 and to be received no later than 5.00pm on 12th June
2025. Any representations received will be taken into
consideration before the
implementation of the scheme.
