Cavaye Place - Temporary Road Closures For Utility Works
What is happening?
THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF KENSINGTON AND CHELSEA
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES CAVAYE PLACE
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD TO BE MADE ONEWAY ANTICLOCKWISE TO ALLOW UTILITY WORKS ON THE FULHAM ROAD.
Cavaye Place, to be made one way anticlockwise from the junction side of 152 Fulham Road to junction side of 176 Fulham Road.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Monday 9th June 2025 until 17.00hrs on Thursday 12th June 2025, with backup dates of Monday 7th July 2025 until Thursday 10th July 2025, or until the works are completed.
Diverted through traffic Cavaye Place, Fulham Road, Cavaye Place.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
