The reason for the said closure is for safety during excavations to replace poles.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 28th May 2025 only or until the said works have been completed.

The reason for the said closure is for fibre infrastructure maintenance and installation works.

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the unrecorded Public Footpaths across the field bounded by Bridleway ZGL 62 known as The Ash Path, and the Wheatridge East from their boundary with Bridleway ZGL 62 and from The Wheatridge East and shown on the Order Map by Red Diagonal hatchings.

The said unrecorded Public Footpaths fall within Abbeydale Ward in Gloucester City, within the County of Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst new development works take place.

The said unrecorded Public Footpaths is expected to be closed between 26th May 2025 and 26th November 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closure is in force. The reason for the closures and restrictions is for Railway Bridge Inspection works.

There will be no waiting, stopping, loading or unloading permitted throughout the duration of the said works.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted, during various times, on a rolling programme commencing 27th May 2025 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made a Variation Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will vary the Gloucestershire County Council On Street Parking Order 2017 (the 2017 Order) the restrictions detailed in The Schedule below on Various Roads in the Twigworth Green Phase 2 Development, Twigworth, Gloucestershire:

The 2017 Order will be varied by the attachment of plans similar to those used in this consultation and which identify the roads or sides of road to which the prohibitions and restrictions affect.

This Variation shall come into operation on 29th May 2025.

The lengths of roads fall within the Parish of Twigworth in the Tewkesbury Borough within the County of Gloucestershire. The usual exemptions will apply to Statutory Undertakers and Local Authority vehicles carrying out duties in exercise of their statutory powers, and also in the case of emergency services vehicles and disabled person’s vehicles.
