(MOVING TRAFFIC) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.3) ORDER 2025

TCF CYCLE SUPERHIGHWAY WEST BRADFORD EXTENSION SCHEME THORNTON ROAD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 20 May 2025 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which is to introduce a change in the operation of times of the existing Bus Lane on Thornton Road from 4pm – 6:30pm, Monday – Friday to 24 hours daily.

The Order comes into force on 23 May 2025. A copy of the Order together with documents that give more detailed particulars may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford BD1 1HY or examined on the Council’s website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order or obtained from Engineer, Sukhpal Shergill - Planning, Transportation & Highways by email sukhpal.shergill@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number PTH/HDC/104973/BL/SS.

If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. from 20 May 2025) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
