What is happening?
NOTICE OF COMING INTO FORCE OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257
WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981, SECTION 53A(2)
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.10 CASSOP-CUM-QUARRINGTON PARISH)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2022
The County Council of Durham on 23/5/2022 confirmed the above order, the effects of which came into force on 16/5/2025, and brings into operation the new Public Footpath to replace diverted Footpath No.10 Cassop-Cum-Quarrington Parish at the Integra 61 Development, Bowburn, which has now been extinguished. Details of the new footpath set out on the plan attached to the order, can be obtained by e-mailing highways.orders@durham.gov.uk
