Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order
Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make and order the effect of which is:
Banwell Road, Hutton, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025
Date coming into Force: 21 July 2025
Ref: SW25-26-033
Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid to change a pole. This order will become operative on the 21 July 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 2 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for fibre cabling works. This order will become operative on the 21 July 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the phased works which is anticipated to be of 4 nights in duration between the hours of 6.00pm – 6.00am. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to clear fibre blockages. This order will become operative on the 7 July 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles, Temporary Revocation of One-Way Order 2025
Date coming into Force: 15 August 2025

Will be to restrict, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and works permits for premises which may only be accessed via the restricted section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to replace poles. This order will become operative on the 15 August 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the restrictions may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the phased works which is anticipated to be of 7 hours in duration between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures for each phase are in force.
Schedule – Road closure and revocation of one-way for access purposes. Royal Crescent and South Terrace in-phase between junction of Park Place for 105m southerly to rear of 10 Royal Crescent.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset District Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, has made and order the effect of which is:
A368 Greenhill Road, Sandford North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists Order 2025
Date coming into force: 27 May 2025

Will be to prohibit, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
The works are required to facilitate pipe operating which proposes will commence on 27 May 2025, anticipated to be of 9 nights. The working hours will be 8pm to 6am. The maximum period of the closures will be 18 months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works.
Schedule – A368 Greenhill Road from the junction with Hill Road/Nye Road to the junction with A371 Castle Hill.
