Various Roads, Wellington in the Parish of West Buckland (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that on the 16th day of May 2025 Somerset Council made the above Order in exercise of the provisions of Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 8th day of May 2025, to introduce temporary traffic restrictions on the roads specified in the Schedules below. This Order will come into operation on the 22nd day of May 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on the 1st day of June 2025 until the 30th day of September 2025 to enable significant highway maintenance operational works to be carried out. The restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Sawyers Hill, Wellington – From its junction with junction 26 of the M5 Chelston Interchange in a north easterly direction for a distance of 370 metres
Gerbestone Road, Wellington – From its junction with junction 26 of the M5 Chelston Interchange in a southerly direction for a distance of 60 metres
Chelston Interchange, Wellington – For entire length (no access to and from the M5)
A38 Chelston Link, Wellington – From its junction with junction 26 of the M5 Chelston Interchange in a northerly direction to the A38 Chelston Roundabout

Because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
