What is happening?
REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
VARIOUS SPEED LIMITS AND ONE WAY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to impose a 20 miles per hour speed limit on the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1, a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the length of roads specified in Schedule 2 and to prohibit driving in a westerly direction on Manless Terrace Skelton Green. The Order will come into operation on 1.6.25.
A copy of the Order which, together with maps showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be examined at the offices below Monday-Friday between 11am and 3pm or at https://www.redcar-cleveland.gov. uk/roads-and-parking/permanent-highway-notices
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the power of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any enactment made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within six weeks of the 23.5.25 apply to the High Court for this purpose.

STANGHOW ROAD From a point 55 metres northwest of its junction with the access road leading to Wet Furrows Farm, in a south easterly direction for a distance of 600 metres
