(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in New Hartley in the County of Northumberland.
U9536 Gloria Avenue from its junction with Seaburn View heading in a westerly direction for a length of 84 metres.
U9536 Wansbeck Grove from its junction with Seaburn View heading in a westerly direction for a length of 47 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th May 2025 until the 27th November 2025.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 2nd June 2025 until the 21st June 2025 and that they will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Seaburn View, St Michael's Avenue, Lysdon Avenue, Gloria Avenue and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for works to be carried out on the roads. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
