PUBLIC NOTICE

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL

(COALWAY ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION

OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Coalway Road in both directions from side of Penn Surgery to its junction with Shenstone Court.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 27 May 2025 until 28 May 2025.
The diversion route is: Penn Road, Stubbs Road, Birches Barn Road, Trysull Road, Oxbarn Avenue and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate remedial reinstatement works by Severn Trent Water.
