U9518 WEST COURT FOOTWAY BLYTH
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in accordance with Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions have continued to be in force on the U9518 West Court Footway Blyth (“the Footway”) in the County of Northumberland.
Temporary Footway Closure:-
A temporary footway closure will continue to be in force and all users will be prohibited to use the U9518 West Court Footway Blyth from a point at the front of no. 34 West Court heading northwards for a distance of 12 metres (“the Footway”) in the County of Northumberland.
An alternative route is available via the U9518 West Court footway, West Court and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
This Order came into force on the 13th May 2025 and remained in force until the 16th May 2025.

The closure had been requested by Freedom Group to repair a low voltage cable fault. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may have been undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
