Dysart Avenue and Beaconsfield Avenue - Temporary Road Closure

Portsmouth City Council (Dysart Avenue and Beaconsfield Avenue) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.87) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 27th May 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
DYSART AVENUE
From its junction with Tregaron Avenue for 20 metres.
BEACONSFIELD AVENUE
From its junction with Court Lane for 20 metres
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate telecommunications works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 27th May 2025 to 30th May 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
D) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted from Court Lane, Lonsdale Avenue, Salisbury Road, Beaconsfield Avenue and Tregaron Avenue, Braemar Avenue, Invergordon Avenue, Dysart Avenue.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works.
