What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

C7 STATION ROAD, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Nethersole Street to High Street.

Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs.

Order Commences: 30 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Station Road, Linden Lane, Stipers Hill, High Street and vice versa.

Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.


D50 HERMITAGE LANE, BIRCHMOOR
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, weeknights 21.00hrs-06.00hrs.

Order Commences: 28 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 3 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: B5000 Tamworth Road, Market Street, Fairfields Hill, Birchmoor Road, Hermitage Lane and vice versa.

ORTON ROAD, WARTON, POLESWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic

Reason for Order: To enable new supply works.

Order Commences: 27 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 30 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Orton Road, Little Warton Road, Maypole Road, Austrey Road, Warton Lane, Bishops Cleeve, Main Road, Orton Lane, Austrey Lane, Norton Lane, The Green and vice versa.

Contractor: Network Plus, Tel: 01773 458 175.


TAMWORTH ROAD, KINGSBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable installation of a boundary box and associated works.

Order Commences: 28 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 29 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Tamworth Road and vice versa.

Contractor: For STW, GTM Redditch, Tel: 07435 540 278.


SHUTTINGTON ROAD, SHUTTINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable essential sewer maintenance works.

Order Commences: 26 May 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 26 May 2025.

Access & Diversion: Shuttington Road, Shuttington Lane, Polesworth Road, Station Road, Bridge Street, Tamworth Road, Glascote Road, Robeys Lane, Alvecote Lane, Main Road and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

CHURCH LANE, SECKINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To enable pole replacement works.

Order Commences: 12 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 13 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion.

Contractor: RNR UK Ltd, Tel: 07549 120 228.


POST OFFICE ROAD, BADDESLEY ENSOR
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to repair short pipe.

Order Commences: 10 June 2025 for up to 18 months.

Anticipated Completion: 12 June 2025.

Access & Diversion: Post Office Road, Keys Hill, The Common, Newlands Road and vice versa.

Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
