What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(LONGBROOK STREET, EXETER) ORDER 2025 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING
NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council has made the above titled order. From 27/5/25 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 4/6/25. No person shall cause or permit anyvehicle to park or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: LONGBROOK STREET, EXETER, FROM JUNCTION OF WARREN LANE TO JUNCTION OF HEMS BUSINESS CENTRE. THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE ROUTE. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed or wait on the sections of Affected Roads. Roads affected: GRACE ROAD CENTRAL, EXETER, FOOTWAY, CARRIAGEWAY, JUNC TRUSHAM ROAD. The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - GRACE ROAD CENTRAL - HENNOCK ROAD NORTH - ALPHINBROOK ROAD - TRUSHAM ROAD - GRACE ROAD CENTRAL - VICE VERSA. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: REPLACE 33.36M OF OLD METALLIC GAS MAINS WITH 33.36M OF NEW PLASTIC MAINS & RENEW/TRANSFER APPROX. 0 SERVICE PIPES TO ADJACENT PREMISES. This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: INSTALL A NEW SERVICE - INSTALL A NEW DUCTED POWER CABLE TO CONNECT A SOLAR PARK TO THE EXISTING ELECTRICITY NETWORK.
