(Temporary Prohibition Of Use By Vehicles) Order 2025

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Old Road, Writhlington, Radstock from a point outside the rear of 119 Frome Road extending east to the rear of 121 Frome Road. USRN: 47903387.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable contractors to carry out sewer connection works on the 27th May 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Julian Road, Lansdown, Bath from its junction with Harley Street extending east to its junction with Gloucester Street. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to Clear duct (pipe) blockages on the 27th May 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Chapel Row, City Centre, Bath from its junction with Queen Square extending south to its junction with St Paul’s Place/Monmouth Street. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to repair a mains leak on the 8th June 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to replace a damaged cover/frame in the carriageway on the 8th June 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to replace a Section 81 cover in the carriageway from the 10th June 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS between 09:30 - 15:00hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:

• A road closure in that length of St Saviour’s Road, Larkhall, Bath from its junction with Larkhall Place extending south for approximately 45 metres. USRN: 47901320.

• A temporary suspension of the one-way restriction on St Saviours Road, from its junction with Dafford Street extending south to its junction with Larkhall Place. 

This means that two-way traffic will be able to travel along St Saviours Road between Dafford Street and Larkhall Place. Vehicles will be able to turn right from Dafford Street onto St Saviours Road, whilst the temporary two-way is in operation.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas main works from the 27th May 2025 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS.

• A no entry restriction on Bloomfield Road, Bath from its junction with Frome Road. USRN: 47900327.

• A no right-turn and no left-turn restriction at the junction of Frome Road onto Bloomfield Road – traffic will need to follow the diversion route.

• A one-way restriction on Bloomfield Road between Somerdale Avenue and Frome Road. From the Somerdale Avenue junction, traffic will only be able to travel southbound towards Frome Road.

• A no right-turn restriction from Chelwood Drive onto Bloomfield Road.

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWELVE WEEKS.
