What is happening?

NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF SWANSEA
FOOTPATH BI32 COMMUNITY OF BISHOPSTON PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025

The above Order, made on the 9th day of April 2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public footpath running from a point to the west of Redley Cliff at grid reference SS586874 to a point at Redley Cliff, Caswell at grid reference SS589875 to a line running further north (inland) from the same point to the west of Redley Cliff to the same point at Redley Cliff, Caswell.

A copy of the order and the order map may be seen at all times on the notice board outside the main entrance of the Swansea Council offices at the Civic Centre, Swansea SA1 3SN and may be obtained free of charge at the Civic Centre reception desk between 8.30 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. The notice and order can also be seen at www.swansea.gov.uk/Publicpathorders

Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Head of Planning & City Regeneration, Civic Centre, Swansea no later than the of 22 June 2025 and should state the grounds on which they are made. If no representations or objections are duly made or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council of the City and County of Swansea may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Welsh Ministers for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
