What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(BIGGLESWADE ROAD, DUNTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Biggleswade Road, Dunton outside number 5B.

This temporary closure is required to enable fire hydrant installation works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 27 to 30 May 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Dunton Lane, Saxon Drive, Baden Powell Way, Potton Road, B1042, Eyeworth Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 27 May 2025 for a period of one month or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. For further information please contact Anglian Water - 0800145145.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Stotfold Road, Arlesey behind number 10.

This temporary closure is required to enable meter bypass works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 26 May 2025 to 3 June 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via A507, Bowskill Way, Church Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 26 May 2025 for a period of three months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. For further information please contact Anglian Water - 0800145145.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL PROPOSES TO INTRODUCE A
DISABLED PARKING BAY ON COPPICE MEAD, STOTFOLD

Reason for proposal: The disabled parking space would provide a dedicated place for blue badge holders to park.

Effect of the Order:

To introduce Parking for Disabled badge holders only on the following length of road in Stotfold:-

1.  Coppice Mead, West side, starting approximately 2m north of the shared property boundary between No. 2b and No.4 Coppice Mead, and extending in a southerly direction by 6.6m in length and 2m in width.
