Enfield, Multiple Roads, Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

ORDNANCE ROAD EN3 - 4509

Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 29 May 2025 for 4 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on both sides of this road between its junctions with Medcalf Road and Salisbury Road.

SOUTHBURY ROAD EN1 - 4510

Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 31 May 2025 for 1 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on both sides of this road from its junction with Clydedash Road to outside Nos. 166/168 Southbury Road.

GORDON ROAD EN2 - 4511

Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

Operational Date and times:

Between 08:00 hours and 13:00 hours on 31 May 2025 or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road at its junction with Chase Side. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

CHURCH STREET EN2 – 4512

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 31 May 2025 for 2 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

• Close this road at its junction with Cecil Road, westwards for approximately 30 metres; and

• No right turn into Gentleman’s Row from Church Street. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

DUCK LEES LANE AND ADEN ROAD EN3 - 4513

Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 02 June 2025 for 5 weeks or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

Duck Lees Lane EN3

• Close this road and suspend parking on both sides of this road from the northwestern flank wall of No.1A Duck Lees Lane to its junction with Mollison Avenue.

Aden Road EN3

• Close this road and suspend parking on both sides of this road from its junction with Duck Lees Lane, northwards for approximately 50 metres. While these roads are closed local diversions would be in operation.

HEDDON COURT PARADE EN4 -4514

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 02 June 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road between its junction with Leys Gardens and Junction Gardens. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

TANNER STREET EN3 - 4515

Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 02 June 2025 for 3 months or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the road from its junction with Jeffreys Road to its junction with East Duck Lees Lane. While this road is closed local diversions would be in operation.

BAGSHOT ROAD EN1 - 4516

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility works

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on 02 June 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking between Nos 37 and 49 and between Nos. 28 and 44 Bagshot Road.

DONKEY LANE EN1 - 4517

Reason for 14(1) Order – EVENTS ON ENFIELD PLAYING FIELDS

Operational Date and times:

“Any time” on

24th and 25th May 2025 for 2 days; and

28th and 29th June 2025 for 2 days

The general effect of the Order would be to:

• Suspend parking on the east side of this road from the junction with Carterhatch Lane; and

• Implement a one way traffic working entry only towards Enfield Playing Fields.
