Doncastle Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Telecommunication Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(DONCASTLE ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit:
a) Any vehicle travelling on Doncastle Road, Bracknell - approximately 195m west of Oldbury for approximately 85m.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while T-Mobile carry out maintenance on the telecoms mast.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via: Doncastle Road, A3095 Mill Lane, A329 Berkshire Way and this route reversed.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 2nd June 2025, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place on 2nd June 2025 from 10:00 until 15:30. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
