What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (DELPH LANE, DARESBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Road(s) affected: Delph Lane, Daresbury - from outside Ivy Cottages to Poplar Farm.
Reason for making the Order: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in or along the road and no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along the road.
Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.
Date Order to come into effect: 23 May 2025
Maximum duration of the Order: 18 months from the date the Order comes into effect.
Note: the closure is to provide a safe working area for engineers to access telegraph poles in order to provide fibre overhead cabling, and will be for one day. For further information contact: 03700 500792.
