What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(BATHFIELD & LINDSAY ROAD) (TEMPORARY ROAD
RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2025 –
TEMP/25/37

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate footway improvement works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Bathfield, in its entirety; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of: (i) Bathfield, in its entirety; & (ii) Lindsay Rd, from Nth Fort St to Lindsay Rd (A901). Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). There is no available diversion with respect to the closure of Bathfield, where local access will be maintained. The order shall have effect from 26/5/25 to 11/7/25.
