Manse Brae, Cambuslang Temporary Road Closure Order 2025

South Lanarkshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other enabling powers, has made the following Order:-

This Order may be cited as “South Lanarkshire Council, Manse Brae, Cambuslang, Temporary Road Closure Order 2025” and shall come into operation between 7am 2 July 2025 and 7pm 25 July 2025. The restrictions will be applied on site by the display of traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. 

The road will be closed on up to 3 separate days during this period. Exact dates will be confirmed via on-site signage at least 24 hours in advance.

Whilst this order remains in force no person shall park, drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on the sections of road specified in Schedule 1 by reason carriageway preventative maintenance treatment.

Nothing in Article 2 of this Order shall prevent the driving upon the said road by any vehicle which is being used in connection with the carriageway preventative maintenance treatment or by emergency service vehicles.

Schedule 1 – Temporary Road Closure – Manse Brae, Cambuslang

Closed between Westburn Road and Hallside Road.

Alternative Route
Via Westburn Road, Newton Brae, Westburn Road, Newton Station Road, Village Road, Hallside Boulevard, Hallside Road and vice versa.
