What is happening?

Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council has made the CITY OF MANCHESTER (KINCARDINE ROAD AREA) (CAR CLUB PARKING PLACE AND AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to: introduced a Car Club Parking Place, at All Times on All Days on - Kincardine Road, north east side from 11m north west of Whitekirk Close north westerly for 5m.

Existing Orders are amended (i) to be consistent with the Car Club Parking Place; and (ii) to take account of changes to street names / the respective lengths to which the street names apply on Whitekirk Close and Balsam Close (no changes are made to the restrictions marked on-street in respect of Whitekirk Close and Balsam Close).

The Order was made on 16 May 2025 and will come into operation on 27 May 2025. A Copy of the Order as made, the plan and copies of the Orders that have been amended may be inspected at Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive. Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order may within 6 weeks from 16 May 2025 apply to the High Court for such purpose.
