U6055 EDWARD STREET PEGSWOOD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6055 Edward Street in its entirety in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 27th May 2025 until the 30th May 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th May 2025 until the 28th May 2025 between 09:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th May 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Ellis Square, Charles Street, Pegswood Main Road Through Village and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water for CCTV survey to the sewer.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
