Notice of Temporary Traffic Regulation Order

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:

Main Road, Flax Bourton, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles and Cyclists

Date coming into force: 11 August 2025

Ref: T25-12

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles and cyclists the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

This order is required because of highway drainage maintenance works and will become operative on 11 August 2025, anticipated to be of 5 days. The road closure will be in effect for 24 hours a day. The maximum period for the closures is eighteen months, however, the closures may not be implemented for the whole period but only as necessitated by the works.

Schedule – Main Road, Flax Bourton from the junction with Stancombe Lane to its junction with Station Road.

Alternative routes – Main Road, Old Weston Road, Clevedon Road, Barrow Street, Long Ashton By-pass, Colliters Way, Bridgwater Road, Potters Hill, Bristol Road, Red Hill, Church Road, Bypass, Stock Lane, Brinsea Lane, Brinsea Green Farm Lane, Brinsea Road, High Street, Kent Road, Rhodyate Hill, West Town Road, Farleigh Road and vice versa

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intended to make an order the effect of which:

The Batch, Butcombe, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into force: 21 July 2025

Ref: SW25.26-017

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exceptions are included for emergency services, local authority, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid for overhead reconductoring works. The order will become operative on the 21 July 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which are anticipated to be of 2 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Chescombe Road, Biddle Street, Yatton, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 26 June 2025

Ref: SW25.26-029

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by St Modwen Homes to install drainage, widen road and construct new footways. This order will become operative on the 26 June 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of approximately 3 months in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Lodway, Pill, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 18 August 2025

Ref: SW25.26-030

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by National Grid to erect new poles. This order will become operative on the 18 August 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 5 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

FINAL NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, have made an order the effect of which:

Middle Lane, Kingston Seymour, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 6 June 2025

Ref: SW24.25-349

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach to access overhead structures to carry out pole replacement. This order will become operative on the 6 June 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 7 hours in duration between 8.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

Row Of Ashes Lane, Redhill, North Somerset

Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2025

Date coming into Force: 4 June 2025

Ref: SW24.25-361

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.

This order was required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Bristol Water to connect 2 new supplies. This order will become operative on the 4 June 2025 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 3 days in duration. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
