(HOLLY ROAD, NORTHAMPTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Holly Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Holly Road, Northampton from Abington Avenue to Abington Grove.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 2 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Abington Avenue, Ivy Road and Abington Grove.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Birch Barn Way, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Birch Barn Way, Northampton from Harborough Road to Acre Lane.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 11th June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 1 day.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Obelisk Rise, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Obelisk Rise, Northampton from outside no.77-79.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 13th June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of the A508 Northampton Road, Courteenhall as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of the A508 Northampton Road, Courteenhall from the junction of the M1 roundabout to Roade roundabout.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during water mains connection works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Yelvertoft Road, West Haddon as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Yelvertoft Road, West Haddon – junction of A428 to Crick Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to a defect.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Knightley Road, Northampton as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Knightley Road, Northampton from Currie Road to Kingsthorpe Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Abington Avenue, Northampton from Wellingborough Road to Clarke Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to three days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: for eastbound Abington Grove, Kettering Road, Park Avenue North and Wellingborough Road; and for westbound use Park Avenue North, Kettering Road, Kettering Road North, Booth Rise, Talavera Way, Redhouse Road, Holly Lodge Drive, Harborough Road, Kingsthorpe Grove, Kingsley Road and Abington Grove .

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Elkington Road, Winwick as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Elkington Road, Winwick from Mill Lane for 50 metres.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during telecom pole replacement works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 27th May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Deanshanger Road, Potterspury from the junction with A5.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during street lighting repairs.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 3rd June 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway works.

(VARIOUS ROADS, SILVERSTONE)
(TEMPORARY ONE-WAY SYSTEM; PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING & UNLOADING AT ANY TIME) (EXCLUDING LAYBYS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from waiting, loading and unloading at any time (excluding laybys) and introduce a temporary one-way system to those roads specified in the Schedule below.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the MotoGP event at Silverstone Circuit.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd May 2025 and will continue in force for a period of three days. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for three days.
