The Green, Chelmsford Road, Spriggs Lane & Fingrith Hall Lane, Blackmore) (Special Event) (Blackmore Village Fayre & Charity Bike Ride) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 16A-C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, has made the above Order to facilitate the holding of the Blackmore Village Fayre & Charity Bike Ride.

Effect of the order: To prohibit traffic on the following lengths of road, in the Parish of Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood:

The closures are scheduled to commence on the above dates and times or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting and is required to facilitate the Blackmore Village Fayre & Charity Bike Ride.

Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure.

The Order may continue in force for up to 3 days unless extended by the Secretary of State


(Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places)

(Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.27) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above order Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, and Parts IV and III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended)

Effect of the order:

1. To Revoke: ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Restrictions.
Road Description
Nine Ashes Road, Blackmore East Side: From a point approximately 29 metres south of its
junction with Redrose Lane, south for approximately 23 metres.
2. To implement ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ Restrictions
Road Description West Side:

(i) From a point approximately 25 metres south of its junction with
Village Hall/Service Lane North, south for approximately 21 metres.


(ii) From a point approximately 78 metres south of its junction with

This Order will be incorporated into ‘The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019’ by substituting Map Tile: TL600 020 revision 0 to revision 1.

Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 02 June 2025

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.


(Chivers Road, Stondon Massey)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Chivers Road, Stondon Massey in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 150m south west of its junction with Ongar Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a south westerly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WG2NJL3F – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Chivers Road, Ongar Road, Nine Ashes Road, Blackmore Road, School Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(The Mount, Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Mount, Brentwood in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 30m north of its junction with St James Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a northerly, north westerly then northerly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 17th June 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA002WFTTHM6W – Openreach). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via The Mount, Fairfield Road, Kings Road, Queens Road, St James Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Ongar Road, Stondon Massey)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ongar Road, Stondon Massey in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 635m north west of its junction with Chivers Road for a distance of approximately 65m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th June 2025 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411002WG2NJL7K – Openreach). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Ongar Road, Stondon Road, Brentwood Road, Ongar Road, Blackmore Road, Ongar Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Princes Road, Navestock)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Princes Road, Navestock in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Shonks Mill Road to its junction with Tan House Lane a distance of approximately 1725m. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th June 2025 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008PLT2489341723032024 – Openreach). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.

 An alternative route is available via Princes Road, Navestock Side, Dudbrook Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 28th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Frog Street, Kelvedon Hatch)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Frog Street, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 430m east then north east of its junction with Ongar Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th June 2025 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410265301 – Affinity Water). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ferrule renewal works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Frog Street, Warren Lane, Stocks Lane, Blackmore Road, Ongar Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 14th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Mores Lane, South Weald)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mores Lane, South Weald in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 100m north east of its junction with Snakes Hill for a distance of approximately 35m in a north easterly then easterly direction and from a point approximately 115m north east of its junction with Snakes Hill for a distance of approximately 10m in a south easterly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd June 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M139085 – Essex And Suffolk Water). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while fire hyrdrant cover rest works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via Mores Lane, Ongar Road and vice versa (with access only into Mores Lane).

The Order came into effect on 14th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.


(Ongar Road, Stondon Massey)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ongar Road, Stondon Massey in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction. 

The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th June 2025 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410257738 – Affinity Water). 

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. 

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sluice valve works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

An alternative route is available via Chivers Road, School Road, Ongar Road, Brentwood Road and vice versa (with access only into Stondon Road, Ongar Road).

The Order came into effect on 14th May 2025 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
