What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(BOROUGH OF HINCKLEY AND BOSWORTH) SECTION 90A
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
(SPEED CUSHIONS AND SPEED TABLE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the developer Lagan Homes Limited proposes to construct speed cushions and a raised table on Markfield Road, Ratby as conditioned through planning application 22/00648/OUT.

The speed cushions and junction table will be constructed under Section 90A of the Highways Act 1980.

The provisional location for the traffic calming measures are as follows and are subject to a change in position following public consultations: - Markfield Road, Ratby

One set of two cushions 75mm high on Markfield Road, adjacent to property 114 Markfield Road.

One set of two cushions 75mm high on Markfield Road, adjacent to property 140 Markfield Road.

One set of two cushions 75mm high on Markfield Road, adjacent to property 129 Markfield Road.

One set of two cushions 75mm high on Markfield Road, adjacent to property 174 Markfield Road.

One set of two cushions 75mm high on Markfield Road, adjacent to property 194 Markfield Road.

One singular speed table 75mm high on Markfield Road, outside of the additional proposed entrance to the Lagan Homes Development, approximately 90m West of 198 Markfield Road, Ratby.
