RHODDIR RHYBUDD DRWY HYN fod y Cyngor fel yr Awdurdod Priffyrdd dros Borthcawl gan arfer ei bwerau o dan Adran 14(1) o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n cyflwyno dros dro y cyfyngiad a eglurir yn yr atodlen isod.
Mae’r Gorchymyn yn angenrheidiol gan nad oes digon o le i ganiatáu mynediad i gerbydau tra bydd mesurydd Dŵr Cymru yn cael ei newid.
Daw y Gorchymyn i rym ar 29/05/2025 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf, neu tan y cyfryw amser ag y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag fydd y cyntaf.
Disgwylir i’r gwaith a gynlluniwyd gael ei wneud rhwng 08:00a.m. a 17:00p.m. ar 29/05/2025.
Atodlen - Ni chaiff neb beri i unrhyw gerbyd deithio ymlaen o’r tu allan i Rif 10 Heol Philadelphia, Porthcawl, ac effeithir ar 10 metr o’r briffordd o Rif 8 i Rif 12.
Y ffordd amgen i gerbydau yw ar hyd Stryd Un Ffordd, Heol y De, Rhodfa Fictoria, Heol Philadelphia.
Ni ddiogelir mynediad i wasanaethau brys; fodd bynnag, cedwir mynediad at yr holl eiddo yn ystod y cyfyngiadau.
Ni fydd y cyfyngiadau’n weithredol, fodd bynnag, ond ar y cyfryw amser ac i’r cyfryw raddau ag y dangosir o bryd i’w gilydd gan arwyddion traffig a ragnodir gan Reoliadau a Chyfarwyddiadau Cyffredinol Arwyddion Traffig 2016.

Temporary Traffic Order 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council as the Highway Authority for Porthcawl in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) has made an Order which temporarily introduces the restriction set out in the schedule below.
The Order is necessary due to there being insufficient room to maintain vehicular traffic during a Dwr Cymru Welsh Water meter change.
The Order will come into force on the 29/05/2025 and will continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until such time as the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
It is anticipated the planned works will be undertaken between the hours of 08:00am and 17:00pm on the 29/05/2025.
Schedule - No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed from outside Number 10 Philadelphia Road Porthcawl, with 10 meters of highway affected from house Number 8 to house Number 12.
The alternative route for vehicles is via One-Way Street, South Road, Victoria Avenue, Philadelphia Road.
Access will not be maintained for emergency services; however, access to all properties will be maintained during the restrictions.
The restrictions shall however only apply at such time and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
