The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) The County of Cornwall (Road From Halt Road To Junction At Mitchell Lane, St Newlyn East) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Newlyn East. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th June 2025 for one day.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Halt Road To Junction At Mitchell Lane, St Newlyn East between the property named Little Ilgram and the junction of Mitchell Lane. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Padstow.
This prohibition is necessary for repairs to defective reinstatement and it is expected that the closure will be from 4th June 2025 to 6th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Harlyn Bay Road, Padstow from near No 1 to near Harlyn House. An alternative route will be signed on site.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay.
This prohibition is necessary for works to supply new water source and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd June 2025 to 5th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.
Road affected - Mount Wise, Newquay from near No 120 to No 108. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Fowey.
This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be for 8th June 2025 and 15th June 2025 only. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1600, weekends included. Road affected - New Road, Lanteglos, Fowey for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Columb Road. This prohibition is necessary for essential cleaning of SWW sewer pipes and it is expected that the closure will be from 17th June 2025 to 19th June 2025.
The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0900 and 1700, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Parka Road To A39 Halloon Roundabout, St Columb Road for its entire length. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Par.
This prohibition is necessary for installation of statutory fibre network and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd June 2025 to 5th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Par.
This prohibition is necessary for installation of statutory fibre network and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th June 2025 to 11th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Pontsmill Road, Par from junction with A390 From Porcupine To Rosemary Cottage to outside property known as Terraine.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 40 in the Parish of Tintagel between grid reference SX 05355 88633 and property number 1 Castle Road.
The Council is satisfied that the order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to an unsafe retaining wall. The Order will come into operation on 20th May 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 19th August 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 29th April 2025 for a period of up to 21 days. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell.
This prohibition is necessary for cabling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd June 2025 to 7th June 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.

The Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 19th May 2025 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Perless Gate To The A39 Between Gonvena Hill And Tredruston Road and Road from Tredrustan Road To Junction North East of Trelyll Farm (24 hours) from 5th June 2025 to 7th June 2025. A temporary speed restriction of 30 MPH will be imposed on A39 Between Hals Grave And West Park Farm, Wadebridge for approximately 500 metres.
A one way restriction will be imposed on the Road from the A39 between Whitecross And Hals Grave to Tredrustan Road between the junctions of Tredrustan Road and the A39 in an east to northerly direction between 06:00 to 14:00 hours.
A one way restriction will be imposed on the Road from the A39 between Whitecross And Hals Grave to Tredruston Road between the junctions of the A39 and Tredrustan Road in a west to easterly direction between 14:00 to 21:00 hours.
A one way restriction will be imposed on Tredruston Road between the junctions of the Road From The A39 and the A39 in a south to north direction between 14:00 to 21:00 hours. A one way restriction will be imposed on Road from Junction South West of The Garage To St Breock between the junctions of Road From The A39 to West Hill and Access From St Breock in a north to south easterly direction between 06:00 to 14:00 hours.
A one way restriction will be imposed on Road from Junction South West of The Garage to St Breock between the junctions of Access From St Breock and Road from the A39 to West Hill in a south east to northerly direction between 14:00 to 21:00 hours.
A one way restriction will be imposed on Road From St Breock To Polmorla between the junctions of Access From St Breock and Polmorla Road in a north west to south easterly direction between 06:00 to 14:00 hours. A one way restriction will be imposed on Road From St Breock To Polmorla between the junctions of Polmorla Road and Access From St Breock in a south east to north westerly direction between 14:00 to 21:00 hours.
A one way restriction will be imposed on Road from Polmorla Road to Pengelly Cross between the junctions of Polmorla Road and Pengelly Cross in a north west to south easterly direction between 06:00 to 14:00 hours.
A one way restriction will be imposed on Road from Polmorla Road to Pengelly Cross between the junctions of Pengelly Cross and Polmorla Road in a south east to north westerly direction between 14:00 to 21:00 hours.
A No Right Turn restriction will be imposed on the Road From The A39 To West Hill onto the A39 at the Tollgate Roundabout (06:00 to 21:00 hours). A No Right Turn restriction will be imposed on the A39 onto the Road From The A39 To West Hill (06:00 to 21:00 hours).
A No Right Turn restriction will be imposed on the A389 at Hal’s Grave onto the A39 (06:00 to 21:00 hours). A No Right Turn restriction will be imposed on the A39 onto the A389 at Hal’s Grave (06:00 to 21:00 hours).
A No Right Turn restriction will be imposed on the A39 onto Road From A39 Between Whitecross And Hals Grave To Tredrustan Road (06:00 to 21:00 hours). A No Right Turn restriction will be imposed on the Road From A39 Between Whitecross And Hals Grave To Tredrustan Road onto the A39 (06:00 to 21:00 hours).
A No Left Turn restriction will be imposed on Polmorla Road onto Road from Polmorlaa Road to Treneague (06:00 to 13:59 hours). A No Right Turn restriction will be imposed on Polmorla Road onto Road from Polmorla Road to Tredruston Lane (14:00 to 21:00 hours). A No Left Turn restriction will be imposed on the Road from Whiterock Road to St Breack onto the Road South West of The Garage to St Breock (06:00 to 13:59 hours).
A No Right Turn restriction will be imposed on the Road from Whiterock Road to St Breock onto the Road South West of the Garage to St Breock (14:00 to 21:00 hours). The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day weekends included The restrictions imposed by this order shall remain in force on such days and during such times as the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. In this order “traffic sign” means a sign of any size, colour and type described or authorised under or having effect as though prescribed or authorised under section 64 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Council is satisfied that the order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to traffic for The Royal Cornwall Show. While the Order is in operation traffic, including bicycle movement, along the highway specified in paragraph 1, will be temporarily restricted. No personnel, except upon the direction of a police constable in uniform, cause or permit any vehicle or pedal cycle to enter on, proceed or wait in the length of highway described above.
Nothing in the Order will apply to: Any police, fire brigade, ambulance or coastguard vehicle, or any personnel on official duty, or any vehicle or person authorised by and with the permission of Cornwall Council
