What is happening?
HIGHWAYS
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TONBRIDGE AND MALLING AREA
Britten Close, Tonbridge TN10 4EF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new a water connection to be installed, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Britten Close, Tonbridge, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Walton Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow duct installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Coldharbour Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 11th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Trench Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Court Lane, Hadlow TN11 0DL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a vehicle crossing installation to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Court Lane, Hadlow, on or after 11th June 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Court Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Court Lane, A26 High Street, A26 The Square, A26 High Street, A26 Tonbridge Road, A26 Hadlow Road East, Three Elm Lane, Victoria Road and vice versa.
Eggpie Lane, Hildenborough (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new water connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eggpie Lane, Hildenborough, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Oakley Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Philpots Lane, Scabharbour Road, Egg Pie Lane, Eggpie Lane and vice versa.
Elm Crescent, East Malling ME19 6DF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow duct installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Elm Crescent, East Malling, on or after 10th June 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Beech Road to the junction of Edward Walk, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Beech Road, Elm Crescent and vice versa.
Paddlesworth Road, Snodland ME6 5RJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Paddlesworth Road, Snodland, on or after 13th June 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside the Snodland Town Football Club, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via St Benedict Road, Snodland Road, Stangate Road and vice versa.
Plaxtol Lane, Plaxtol (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow new water connection to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Plaxtol Lane, Plaxtol, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Bothy Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A227 Tonbridge Road, A227 Shipbourne Road, Higham Lane, Puttenden Road, Claygate Lane, School Lane, Church Hill, Plaxtol Lane and vice versa.
Ryarsh Lane, West Malling ME19 6QR (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ryarsh Lane, West Malling, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of King Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Sandy Lane, Ivy Hatch TN15 0PE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow a new sewer connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sandy Lane, Ivy Hatch, on or after 26th May 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Common Road and Coach Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Coach Road, High Cross Road, Ismays Road, Common Road and vice versa.
Smithers Lane, East Peckham TN12 5JN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Smithers Lane, East Peckham, on or after 26th May 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside property number 2. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for any through traffic and access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.
Terrys Lodge Road, Stansted (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drain cleaning works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Terrys Lodge Road, Stansted, on or after 27th May 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A20 London Road and St Clere Hill. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A20 London Road, Bull Lane, High Street, Kemsing Road, Exedown Road, Terrys Lodge Road and vice versa.
Well Street, East Malling ME19 6JP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow trial holes to be excavated, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Well Street, East Malling, on or after 27th May 2025 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside property number 163. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Pikey Lane, Broadwater Road, Well Street and vice versa.
Winterfield Lane, East Malling ME19 6JB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drain cleaning works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Winterfield Lane, East Malling, on or after 29th May 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A20 London Road and Clare Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Clare Lane, Mill Street, New Road, A20 London Road and vice versa.
Workhouse Road, Ryarsh (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Workhouse Road, Ryarsh, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of The Street and Chapel Street. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Workhouse Road, Chapel Street, The Street and vice versa.
