Sevenoaks, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices

What is happening?

HIGHWAYS

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984,  makes or intends to make the following Orders.

SEVENOAKS AREA

B2019 Seal Hollow Road, Sevenoaks. TN13 3XH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2019 Seal Hollow Road, Sevenoaks, on or after 27th May 2025 for up to 11 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 69.

The alternative route is via B2019 Seal Hollow Road, A225 Dartford Road, A225 St Johns Hill, A25 Seal Road and vice versa.

 

Castle Hill, Hartley, Fawkham Road & Valley Road, Fawkham. DA3 8LU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Castle Hill, Hartley, Fawkham Road and Valley Road, Fawkham, on or after 28th May 2025 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

Castle Hill will be closed between Oakfield and Valley Road.

Fawkham Road will be closed between and Valley Road and St Mary’s Church. 

Valley Road will be closed between Fawkham Road and The Old Rectory.

The alternative route is via Fawkham Road, B2060 Main Road, Hartley Road, Ash Road, Chapel Wood Road, Ash Road, The Street, South Ash Road, Ash Lane, A20 London Road, Fawkham Road, Brands Hatch Road, Valley Road, and vice versa.

 

Hartley Bottom Road, Hartley. DA3 8LE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of an examination of the bridge, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hartley Bottom Road, Hartley, on or after 15th June 2025 for up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the railway bridge.

The alternative route is via Hartley Bottom Road, Manor Road, B260 Longfield Road/Main Road and vice versa.

 

Jacobs Lane, Horton Kirby. DA4 9DW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of carriageway widening and resurfacing, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Jacobs Lane, Horton Kirby, on or after 26th May 2025 for up to 14 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternative route is via Forge Lane, Lombard Street, Rays Hill, The Street, Horton Road and vice versa.

 

Mussenden Lane, Horton Kirby. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mussenden Lane, Horton Kirby, on or after 11th June 2025 for up to 2 days between 09.00hrs and 17.00hrs or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Mussenden Farm House and Bluebell Cottage.

The alternative route is via Eglantine Lane, Gorse Hill, Gabriel Spring Road, Scratchers Lane, Three Gates Road and vice versa.

 

Ship Lane, Sutton At Hone BR8 7FS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025

Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ship Lane, Sutton At Hone, on or after 28th May 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed near Homefield Farrm.

The alternative route is via Wood Street, Button Street, A20 London Road, A225 Dartford Road/Main Road, Ship Lane and vice versa.
