Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
HIGHWAYS
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
GRAVESHAM AREA
Camer Road, Meopham DA13 0XT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of repairs to a fire hydrant, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Camer Road, Meopham, on or after 28th May 2025 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Camer Farm Barn.
The alternative route is via Green Lane, A227 Wrotham Road, B261 Old Road West, Singlewell Road, Hever Court Road, Marling Cross Overbridge, Henhurst Road, Jeskyns Road, Sole Street and vice versa.
Northridge Road & Smarts Road, Gravesend. DA12 5AW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of a water pipe repair, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Northridge Road and Smarts Road, Gravesend, on or after 27th May 2025 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
Northridge Road will be closed at the junction with Smarts Road.
Smarts Road will be closed outside number 39.
The alternative route for Smarts Road is via Central Road, Malvina Avenue, Sun Lane and vice versa.
The alternative route for Northridge Road is via Smarts Road, Sun Lane, Kitchener Avenue, Kings Drive, Central Avenue, Ridgeway Avenue and vice versa.
Watling Street, Gravesend. DA11 7FA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of water main repairs in the footway and carriageway, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Watling Street, Gravesend, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 9 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Singlewell Road.
The alternative route is via Singlewell Road, Harman Avenue, Golf Links Avenue, Watling Street and vice versa.
Whitepost Lane, Culverstone(PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
To clear blockages and enable cabling works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Whitepost Lane, Culverstone, on or after 9th June 2025 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed. The One Way will be suspended to allow access.
The road will be closed between Harvel Road and Petersfield Drive.
The alternative route is via Harvel Road, A227 Gravesend Road/Wrotham Road, Whitepost Lane and vice versa.
