(A703 MILKIESTON, PEEBLES) (TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2025
The Scottish Borders Council (A703 Milkieston, Peebles) (Temporary Closing) Order 2025 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:00 on 22 May 2025 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 23 May 2025 - 24 hour closure. The Order is required for patching works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A703 at Milkieston, Peebles.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A703, A72, A701 and A703 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
