(Crawley – Northgate: Manor Royal)
(Temporary Night-Time Closure) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Manor Royal between the A23 and Faraday Road.
The Order is necessary to project public safety due to highway resurfacing works.
The Order will come into effect on 21 May 2025 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will commence on or after 21 May 2025 between 2000 hours and 0600 hours and will take 10 nights to complete.

(Crawley & Colgate: Somerset Road)
(Prohibition Of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made a permanent Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to allow buses only to travel either direction along Somerset Road from the Sullivan Drive roundabout junction north-westwards for a distance of 98M.
The Order will come into operation on 27 May 2025.
Paper copies of documents will not be available to view in council offices or libraries. People without access to a computer who wish to have a copy of the Order should telephone the WSCC Contact Centre on 01243 642105 to receive a copy by post.
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or on the grounds that any requirements of the act, or of any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from 21 May 2025, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
