Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -
The Isle of Wight Council (Pound Lane, Calbourne, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 2 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Monday 26 May 2025, and Wednesday 28 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Pound Lane, Calbourne, between its junctions with Yarmouth Road and its junction with Pound Cottage - Access Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Ditching works.
The Isle of Wight Council (Long Lane, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 7 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Monday 26 May 2025, and Wednesday 28 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Long Lane, Newport, between its junctions with Buckbury Lane and its junction with Durtton Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Ironwork repair.
The Isle of Wight Council (Granville Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Monday 26 May 2025, and Wednesday 28 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Granville Road, Cowes, between its junctions with Park Road and its junction with Granville Road Bridge. The Isle of Wight Council (Station Road, Ningwood, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Tuesday 27 May 2025, and Thursday 29 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Station Road, Ningwood, between its junctions with Wellwood Road and its junction with Access Road 65. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during CCTV Drainage Survey.
The Isle of Wight Council (Havenstreet Main Road, Havenstreet, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift, between Tuesday 27 May 2025, and Thursday 29 May 2025, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along Havenstreet Main Road, Havenstreet, from approx. 200m prior to the steam railway entrance. The Isle of Wight Council (Lushington Hill, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025

The Isle of Wight Council (Briddlesford Road, Newport, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 3 2025

The Isle of Wight Council (Nettlestone Hill, Seaview, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0930 and 1530 hours on Thursday 29 May 2025, or when the works has been completed, Nettlestone Hill will be closed between its junctions with Seaview Lane and Ryde Bridleway 66. The Isle of Wight Council (George Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure and Revocation of One-Way Restriction) Order No 3 2025
Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0900 hours on Tuesday 27 May 2025 until 1800 hours on Wednesday 30 July 2025, or when the works has been completed, George Street will be closed between its junctions with Castle Street and Cross Street. The one-way restriction along George Street will be revoked between its junctions with Castle Street and Cross Street. The alternative route will be signposted locally. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0800 hours until 1800 hours on Monday 26 May 2025, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along High Street between its junctions with Church Road and Woodland Grove. The closure is required for safety during Bembridge Street Fair. The diversion will be signposted locally.
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between 0800 hours and 1800 hours, on Monday 26 May 2025, or when the event is finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any vehicle to wait along
Church Road for its entire length;
High Street, between its junctions with Woodland Grove and Mill Road;
Steyne Road, for its entire length.
This order is required in the interests of road safety during the Bembridge Street fair. Alternative routes will be signposted locally.
The Isle of Wight Council (Star Street, Ryde, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2025
Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1200 hours until 2200 hours on Sunday 25 May 2025, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner, no person shall cause any non-event related vehicle to proceed along Star Street between its junctions with Player Street and Warwick Street.
