HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Caerffili, wrth weithredu ei bwerau o dan y Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd), yn bwriadu, mewn nid llai na saith diwrnod o ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, wneud Gorchymyn a fydd â’r effaith o wahardd cerbydau rhag mynd ar hyd:
Cam 1 a 3 – Mill Street o’i gyffordd ag Isaf Road am bellter o 35 metr.
Cam 2 – Mill Terrace o’i gyffordd â Mill Street am bellter o 110 metr.
Disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn arferedig gychwyn ar 24 Mai 2025 am gyfnod nid yn hwy na deunaw mis neu nes bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, p’un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith gael ei gwblhau erbyn 31 Awst 2025. Disgwylir y bydd y ffyrdd ar gau am y cyfnodau canlynol. Gall y dyddiadau penodol a nodir newid.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Caerphilly County Borough Council in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intends in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:
Phase 1 & 3 – Mill Street from its junction with Isaf Road for a distance of 35 metres.
Phase 2 – Mill Terrace from its junction with Mill Street for a distance of 110 metres.
The proposed Order is expected to commence on 24 May 2025 for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated the works will be complete by 31 August 2025. It is anticipated that the closure will be in force for the following periods. Specific dates indicated are subject to changes.
Phase 1 & 3
From 24 May 2025 until 1 June 2025
Phase 2
From 7 July 2025 until 20 July 2025
Phase 3
From 21 July 2025 until 31 August 2025
Emergency services, resident and pedestrian access will be maintained where possible.
Alternative routes are via Channel View, Herbert Avenue, B4591 Newport Road, Ty Isaf Park Avenue, Springfield Road.
The reason for making the Order is to allow for gas mains replacement.
The order is required by Wales & West Utilities.
