ASHFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2021

Notice is hereby given that on 09 May 2025, the Kent County Council on behalf of Ashford Borough Council certified that the terms of Article 2 of the above-named Order, requiring an alternative highway to be created to the reasonable satisfaction of the Kent County Council (on behalf of Ashford Borough Council) had been complied with. Accordingly, the above-named Order has now taken effect.

Notice of the making of an Order to temporarily

close Public Footpath CC11

(Public Footpath CC11)
(Prohibition Of Traffic) Temporary Order 2025

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14(1), As Amended By The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991

Kent County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily close Public Footpath CC11 between Footpath CC12 and St Stephen’s Court from the 28 May 2025

The path will be closed for a maximum of six months, although it is expected that it will reopen June 2025

The path is closed because of works on or near the path.

The alternative route is via Public Footpath CC11, St Stephen’s Green, St Stephen’s Road and St Stephen’s Court and will be signed for the duration of the closure.

(PUBLIC FOOTPATHS NG19 (PART) AND NU17 GRAVESEND)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2019

Notice is hereby given that on 14 March 2025, the Kent County Council (on behalf of Gravesham Borough Council) certified that the terms of Article 2 of the above-named Order, requiring an alternative highway to be created to the reasonable satisfaction of the Kent County Council (on behalf of Gravesham Borough Council) had been complied with.

Accordingly, the above-named Order has now taken effect.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

TUNBRIDGE WELLS BOROUGH COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATHS WB11 (part) AND WT192A (part) TUNBRIDGE WELLS & CAPEL)
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025

The above Order was made on 7th May 2025 under Section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The effect of the Order will be to divert the entire width of that length of public footpath WB11 (a) commencing at NGR TQ 6062 4288 (Point A on order plan) and running in an east-north-easterly direction for 215 metres to NGR TQ 6083 4293 (Point B) and (b) commencing at NGR TQ 6085 4293 (Point C) and runs in an east-south-easterly to easterly direction for 85 metres to NGR TQ 6093 4292 (Point D). As shown on the order plan by the solid black line between Points A-B and C-D and (c) the entire width of that length of Public Footpath WT192A commencing at the aforementioned Point D and running in a northeasterly direction for 18 metres to NGR TQ 6095 4292 (point E). As shown on the order plan by the solid black line between Points D-E. and will add a new length of public footpath numbered WB11 with a width of 2.0 metres which will

(a) commence at the aforementioned Point A and run in a northerly direction for approximately 15 metres to NGR TQ 6061 4290 (Point F) and then in an east-north-easterly direction to easterly direction for 219 metres to the aforementioned Point B, and (b) commence at the aforementioned Point C and running in an easterly direction for 51 metres to NGR TQ 6090 4293 (Point G). As shown on the order plan by the broken black line between Points A-F-B and C-G.

And (c) a new length of public footpath numbered WT192A with a width of 2.0 metres which will commence at the aforementioned Point G and runs in a north-easterly direction for 25 metres to NGR TQ 6092 4293 and then in a south-easterly direction for b28 metres to the aforementioned Point E. As shown on the order plan by the broken black line between Points G-E.

All directions are general, all distances are approximate.

Any representation about or objection to the Order must be sent or delivered in writing to William Barfoot at the Kent County Council (PROW & Access Service, Invicta House, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1XX, William.Barfoot@kent.gov.uk) no later than 20th June 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made.

Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn Tunbridge Wells Borough Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
