PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U63221 Bank Street, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63221 Bank St from its junction with A449 Worcester Rd to its junction with U63219 Moorlands Rd.

Reason: Carriageway surface dressing by WCC.

Alternative route: U63219 Moorlands Rd, A449 Worcester Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 17 May 2025 and 6 June 2025.

(U63504 Knapp Way, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of U63504 Knapp Way from its junction with U63503 Beauchamp Rd for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Dropped kerb for vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: U63503 Beauchamp Rd, U63504 Knapp Way (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 21 May 2025.

(C2250 Coles Green, Leigh Sinton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Order made: To close that part of C2250 Coles Green from its junction with U62234 Kingshill to its junction with C2227 Sherridge Rd.

Reason: Utility water works by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: C2250 Coles Green (part), C2227 Sherridge Rd, C2064 Smith End Green, C2064 Stintchins Hill, C2250 Sandlin and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 21 May 2025.

(C2205 Howsell Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2205 Howsell Rd from its junction with U63507 Sommers Park Ave to its junction with U63511 Frederick Rd.

Reason: Utility work by Severn Trent Water.

Alternative route: C2205 Howsell Rd (part), A449 Worcester Rd, B4503 Newtown Rd, B4503 Leigh Sinton Rd, C2205 Tanhouse Ln, C2205 Upper Howsell Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 10 June 2025.

(A449 Worcester Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of A449 Worcester Rd from its junction with B4208 Townsend Way to its junction with U63400 Queen Elizabeth Rd.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Alternative route: Light Vehicle Diversion – B4208 Townsend Way, B4208 North End Ln, B4208 Pickersleigh Rd, B4211 Barnards Green Rd, B4208 Blackmore Park Rd, B4209 Hanley Rd, A449 Wells Rd, A449 Worcester Rd and vice versa. HGV Diversion – A449 Worcester Rd (part), A449 Malvern Rd, A449 The Village, A4440 Temeside Way, A38 Worcester Rd, A38 Main Rd, A38 Bath Rd, A4104 Hanley Rd, B4209 Upton Rd, B4211 Hanley Rd, B4209 Roberts End to B4208 Malvern, Castle Rd, B4209 Hanley Rd (part), A449 Worcester Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (19:00–05:00) between 8 June 2025 and 29 June 2025.

(C2064 Smith End Green, Leigh Sinton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2064 Smith End Green from its junction with C2227 Sherridge Rd to its junction with C2250 Coles Green.

Reason: Safe working by Openreach.

Alternative route: C2227 Sherridge Rd, C2250 Coles Green, C2250 Sandlin, C2064 Stitchins Hill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 9 June 2025.

(U60421 The Beeches, Upton Upon Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U60421 The Beeches from its junction with U60429 Ryall Rd to its junction with U60423 The Beeches.

Reason: Safe working by Openreach.

Alternative route: U60429 Ryall Rd, U60421 The Beeches (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 10 June 2025.

(U63351 Charles Way, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63351 Charles Way from its junction with U63357 Charles Ave to its junction with U63353 Layton Ave.

Reason: Dropped kerb for new vehicle crossing by WCC.

Alternative route: U63351 Charles Way (part), U63353 Layton Ave, U63356 Service Rd between U63353 Layton Ave and U63351 Charles Way, U63351 Charles Way (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 10 June 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpath UU-566 (part), Upton upon Severn) (Temporary Closure Order) 2025

Proposed Order: To close Footpath UU-566 (part), Upton upon Severn from grid ref: 384035, 239880 to 384109, 239643.

The Order has been made due to a housing development.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Follow footpaths UU-566, Welland Rd A4104, Monseil Lane U61210, Welland to U61211, Upton upon Severn.

Maximum duration: 6 months or until the works are completed.

It is anticipated that the closure will be for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, and in any event by the calendar. However, it is expected the footpath will be closed for up to 6 months commencing on 13 June 2025.
