Grange Road -Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle to proceed over that length of Grange Road, Singleton from its junction with Larbreck Road for approximately 55 metres in a westerly direction.
2. Nothing in this order shall apply to persons engaged in the carrying out of the works.
3. The prohibition will be operative from 0930 hours until 1530 hours on Tuesday 22nd April 2025 or until completion of the works within this period.
4. Vehicular access for residents will be maintained whenever and wherever possible. Emergency services access will be always maintained. Pedestrian access to properties will always be maintained.
5. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure is via:-
Larbreck Road – Mile Road – The Village – Church Road and vice versa
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow a safe environment for engineers for tree cutting vehicles and hoist to access poles to be carried out.

(TEMPORARY AMENDMENT) ORDER 2025
The Lancashire County Council (“the County Council”) in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, (the Act), and of all other enabling powers, HEREBY makes the following Order:-
The Lancashire County Council (Grange Road, Singleton, Fylde Borough) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025, is hereby temporarily Amended in that:
i. To amend Article 3 as follows:
The prohibition will be operative from 0930 hours until 1530 hours on Tuesday 27th May 2025 or until completion of the works within this period.
This Temporary Amendment Order shall come into operation on Wednesday 23rd April 2025 and may be cited as “The Lancashire County Council (Grange Road, Singleton, Fylde Borough) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2025 (Temporary Amendment) Order 2025”
