REGULATION 30 (1) (C) NOTICE OF DETERMINATION OF AN EIA PLANNING APPLICATION
Site: Dewars Farm Quarry and land to the north-east
Planning Reference: MW.0049/23; Planning Register no. 23/00788/CM
Description of Development: Winning and working of mineral and progressive restoration to agriculture and nature conservation using imported inert and onsite materials as a north-east extension to Dewars Farm Quarry; retention of supporting infrastructure within the existing quarry, including processing plant, site offices, weighbridge and site access; and construction of new internal haul road between the extraction and processing areas
Decision: Approved A Statement under Regulation 30(1)(d) has been placed on the Planning Register held by Cherwell District. It can be found on Oxfordshire County Council’s e-planning website using reference MW.0049/23 at https://myeplanning.oxfordshire.gov.uk The Statement contains:
i. information regarding the right to challenge the validity of the decision and the procedures for doing so;
ii. the reasoned conclusion of the relevant planning authority on the significant effects of the development on the environment;
iii. the conditions to which the decision is subject which relate to the likely significant environmental effects of the development on the environment;
iv. a description of any features of the development and any measures envisaged in order to avoid, prevent, reduce and, if possible, offset, likely significant adverse effects on the environment;
v. any monitoring measures considered appropriate by the relevant planning authority;
vi. the main reasons and considerations on which the decision is based including information about the participation of the public; and
vii. a summary of the results of the consultations undertaken, and information gathered, in respect of the application and how those results have been incorporated or otherwise addressed
