(Temporary Prohibition Of Driving, Parking, Waiting, Loading & Unloading) Order 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Plymouth City Council acting under sections 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to
- To prohibit the driving, parking, waiting loading & unloading of vehicles in:
Drunken Bridge Hill - between Underwood Road and Copse Road |
Underwood Road - between 143 and Dark Street Lane |
Buckwell Street - for its entirety |
Bretonside - at the junction of Kinterbury Street |
Vauxhall Street - no right hand turn onto Buckwell Street |
Ham Drive - between Recreation Road and Ham Close |
Foliot Road - for its entirety |
Austin Avenue - for its entirety |
Fort Austin Avenue - between 176 and 189 |
Church Hill - at the junction of Fort Austin Avenue |
Bushead Road - between Crownhill Road and Biggin Hill |
New Passage Hill - for its entirety |
Palace Street - suspension of the one-way system |
Kinterbury Street - for its entirety |
The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading and unloading will be in operation on the days and during the hours that the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
Alternative routes will be signed as appropriate.
Gatemen will be available for resident access.
It is anticipated that the phased resurfacing and all associated work will take place at the above locations between 9th June 2025 and 19th December 2025.
Advance warning boards will be displayed on site at each location to communicate exact dates and times nearer the time.
The Order shall come into force on 9th June 2025 and will continue in force for a maximum of 18 months.
